Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber have just purchased OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder’s rock n’ roll crib northwest of Sunset Boulevard for a cool $11.625 million.
The five-bedroom, six-bathroom estate on Loma Vista Drive in Beverly Hills is a sprawling 5,386 square feet of indoor-outdoor living and entertaining space on a full acre of true Hollywood A-List style that feels more Palm Springs than Los Angeles.
Built in 1959, the home was originally purchased by Tedder and his wife Genevieve for $7.5 million in 2014 — the couple’s real estate agent, David Gray at The Partners Trust, told PopSugar that the rock star-slash couple turned out to be quite talented not just at writing hits for Madonna and Beyonce but at flipping high-end real estate. And we have to agree.
With the help of Alvarez Morris Architectural Studio, according to The Real Deal, the single-story, single-family midcentury ranch now features a bright white, open floor plan including a kitchen with waterfall marble countertops and backsplash and gigantic skylights leading from lounge area upon lounge area out to the central and meticulously landscaped pool.
The entirely private compound — with parking for 13 cars — feels more like an uber-hip Palm Springs hotel than a Los Angeles family home, but nothing the Crawford-Gerber clan does is conventional.
