Peel and stick products have been around for awhile and we know their benefits. They are affordable, which makes them great for budget households. They are also super easy to install for all you DIY-adverse people out there. All these makes them a go-to for quick makeovers and style boosts. But as more companies get into the game, adhesive products are spreading their wings and giving us more and more reasons to use them.

They’re Sometimes Removable: The French blog Poligom shared their new adhesive backsplash, which adds a little bit of texture and interest to an all-white kitchen. Installing peel & stick tile is pretty easy and takes no time at all. The product she used, Smart Tiles, is also removable with heat.

They Come in Different Shapes: Tiles aren’t just square anymore and come in other shapes, namely long planks that replicate pieces of real hardwood. For about $50 Home on Hidden Oaks covered up the linoleum in her guest bathroom.

Some Are Real Wood: Companies like Stikwood take it a step further, using real wood on their peel & stick tiles. Which means you can get a weathered wood wall without all the labor. It’s also great for smaller DIY projects, like this IKEA hack from Sugar & Cloth.

They Can Be Groutable: Caitlin Wilson used a marble pattern for her kitchen and reports that it’s very soft to walk on. You also have the option to grout the floor to get the look of real ceramic tile.
