Since its opening in 2008, Palihouse Holloway has been a cool spot, whether as a setting for a party (GiltGroup held their Los Angeles bash there) or a place to stay. Now the same group has opened a spot on Melrose, just west of Fairfax, just across from Jonathan Adler and down the block from Fred Segal, that promises to be just as cool. It's a spot for vacationers as well as for locals who are encouraged to meet for coffee and bring their laptops. A close look at the renovation also reveals it as an inspiration to renters.
